Xuan's new school, Modern Montessori International, from Nov onwards. Their playground is in really bad condition so I hope their "Outdoors" doesn't mean playing there...

There are 6 Sos whoose birthdays fall in the month of Oct, so by the time didi celebrates his birthday, we had a bit too much cake already. Nevertheless, it's his first birthday! And he's very happy about it!

Then we had him "pick his future", so to say...Calculator can either stand for "financial/accountancy" or "logic/engineer".

He picked the ball next, but then, Xuan took the book away and so it's not so accurate anymore.

We sort of did it again without the ball, and the final sequence is calculator, drumstick (有福，不愁吃), ruler (law), pen (literacy) and book (academic/ research) :):) Just for fun!

West Coast Park

Went to West Coast Park MacDonalds instead of Pioneer Mall for breakfast. For some reason, Xuan got angry at didi. She does this to him a lot. So fierce!

Happy Birthday Mama So!

Haha, after almost one whole year (see last year's family photo in http://mymelodyso.blogspot.com/2008/12/babies-kl-trip.html), didi is still crying in the family photo :)

This is slightly better though blurred :) Xuan refused to open her "golden mouth" at the time of singing the birthday song, yet throughout the year she kept singing it to me :P

Ball sense

Didi has some ball sense! :D Xuan was never quite interested in my miniature Mikasa volleyball, but seems like I have found someone who would appreciate it! :D

Xuan's "toy-of-the-month"--the little car. She can "drive" it properly now! :D I used to push her around in it :)

Ponyo!

Mama So went to Osaka alone, feeling guilty all the way, because one day before the flight, she started having fever...I was looking so forward to showing her the world! But I guess it was for the better cos the sleep on the plane was quite terrible, and overall it would have been too tiring for her. Maybe a shorter, nearer place next year? Anyway, I bought her favourite anime character! (Though she seem to have finally gotten past watching Ponyo and back to her Seseme Street series)

Seeds given my her school on the Kids In Charge day. Finally! :D

P/S: on 18th oct, 3 shoots have wilted, only one still surviving :P

Didi wakes up early, around 7, so Mama brought him to the playground while Papa So and Jiejie So sleeps on...

So happy!

Didi caught on pretty quickly. I put him at the bottom of the slide, turn around for 2 secs, and he is halfway up already! Scary!
