Playing the guitar

I introduced Xuanxuan to the guitar today. Showed her how to strum and how to pluck. She observed for a while, cos it's something new, then pressed on the strings and I coulnd't play anymore, then banged on the strings and produced, well, some sounds :) She made an attempt to pluck, and I think that her tiny fingers can fit in between the strings just nice :)

Leopard crawl

Xuanxuan has started shuffling on her tummy and I bought her a toy that both bay and adult love-- the little wound up chicken! It induces her to crawl after it, and it's always a joy to watch :):)

Innocence

I think this is a look of eager anticipation, of trust, of innocence. I just love it when she looks at me like that :):)

Biscuits

She can hold her own biscuits! My sis introduced Baby Bites carrot flavoured biscuits to me and I fed some to her before, but I tried propping her up today and wa-laaa! She can actually feed herself! :D:D So I happily let her eat 2 biscuits and took like a hundred photos of her eating them :):)

Bffffffff!

Cute Melody

This is Xuan at 7 months, she's starting to crawl on her tummy :):)

It was a time when she can only cheer while doing "back-raisers" :):)

And babies crying always make the mummy in our hearts go "oooohhhhh"

Not ticklish

Ticklish babies are cute cos it's so easy to make them smile. My baby, however, seem to do the exact opposite :):)

Hiccups!

Even when she's still in my tummy, she's a very hiccup-y foetus. How do I know when she's having hiccups and not kicking me? Hiccups is light and rythmic for quite a long time. It's cute at first then it got a little irritating :P but now I think it's just cute :):)

1 month +

When xuan is sleeping, she's my sleeping beauty.

First Injection

Xuanxuan goes to the polyclinic today for her injection. This is my fav photo of her wrapped in her little duckling hooded towel. She didn't cry much, in fact, she just let out a little yelp, and then got distracted. It was the mommy and granny who felt the pinch.

Melody sees her first daylight!

After about 5 hours of labour, my Melody lets out her first cry and started looking around at the strange world around her. She started nursing without fuss and my hubby and I feel like the most blessed people in the world.
