She can sing the entire Majula Singapura! Pronunciation is quite off though, which makes it hilarious. Don't dare to post it here wait we get sued for mocking the national anthem...:P:P

Xuan has successfully weaned off her second bottle of milk before she sleeps. It took a whole week of screaming and crying for at least an hour and sometimes during her midnight feed too. Made us feel like we're torturing our kid...don't want to give her milk...but now that she's ok with it, she's starting to take milk in the cup and go to the loo while she roll here and there for abt 45min. Such a struggle to make a toddler sleep...but she's well on her way to be totally weaned off diapers! :):)

Little helper

Xuan loves to act her role as a big sister. She is constantly saying, 我是大姐姐；我是萱萱姐姐；我是大娃娃etc. Can see that girls do naturally have the motherly instinct! :)

New bed!

Thank you Zhixiang for the new bed! This is Papa So assembling it...

...and Xuan sleeping on it. Took me 2 nights to get her to sleep on it. She loves it now, and is proud to have her own bed! Anyone (i.e. didi) who climbs onto her bed will get a good scolding!

Handprints

Mama So is making a tree trunk (with my groupmates making flowers and leaves for the tree). Thought it'd be fun to let xuan do the printing for me! :):) I am taking a Diploma in Early Childhood Education now and I am doing all my assignments on Xuan. :):):)

Dear Zoo

One of xuan's first books. It's didi's favourite book now! :):) We have a bag of books in the car and this is the book that he flips the longest.

Xuan has a special place on the sofa where she watches her tv. Didi now makes himself comfortable beside his big sister. Hmmm but xuan doesn't really want him there...and tried to push/kick him away :S

Xuan's quite particular about him drinking from her water bottle too. Good thing they both have their own and they both quite like drinking water :):)

Zoo!

A perfect day! Everyone woke up early, Papa skipped his Stand Chart Marathon to go the zoo with us, the overcast threatened to rain the whole morning yet it didn't, so it was cool and shady!

We saw people on stilts as we were having breakfast! Didi can't be seen cos the guy's too tall...

White tigers pacing up and down, and there's one in the water pacing up and down too~

Giraffe 车！And zebra 车，老虎车 etc!

The elephants were on their royal parade, and xuan insisted that "大象姐姐有穿衣服，大象哥哥没有穿衣服”

The zoo keeper threw sugar canes at the orang utans and one raised its arms high like xuan!

At the Kiddy World, we rested, ate some sinful frenchfries, and got ourselves wet at the water playground! Even didi had fun crawling in the water and getting drenched :) Xuan screamed when a pony tried to smell her, so she settled for a fake pony~

We saw many actions today at the zoo from the animal, even saw a giraffe pee right in front of us! I realize the best time to go to the zoo is really around 9-11.30am, cos after that the heat will make the animals drowsy, and make us grouchy

Taking his first steps

Didi is walking more than one step! :D:D Can I say he is officially starting to walk? He takes a few steps then "dive" into the next holding point. I think he still prefers to crawl cos he crawls much faster than he walks :)

Mama So made a Christmas tree on the wall! This is the first time in my life that I ever have a "Christmas tree" in my house. I am definitely starting to decorate the house more now that I've started at the childcare centre. Xuan's "Jingle Bell" doesn't sound very merry, though. I think she's feeling rather resentful cos didi gets a lot attention now that he is more interactive and starting to walk...sigh. And they are starting to snatch toys, literally. Mama's nightmare begins...
