Handphone updates

Siblings connecting:
Sis and bro sleeping on the same bed...When oh when can I chase them out of my bed and they sleep on their own beds in their own room(s)?
Didi wanted to hold both jiejie's hands and walk...in the carpark

Mama said no and they compromised, sort of, albeit unwillingly

Kept crying, but I think this shot is rather precious. Sis and bro holding hands! Sis looking at didi, concerned abt how to comfort him!

Xuan the bride:

It started one day with "我要做Keagan gorgor 的新娘~". She has been to several weddings with me last year and we have our wedding photos around the house. She understands that a bride has a groom and she'd hold flowers and wear a big white dress. So sometimes she'd play the “你是新娘,我给你花”game, and this night she took it to another level by "wearing" the bride's dress. “妈妈,你教弟弟说,姐姐是新娘。我的裙子很大。”She understands that I am a wife to Papa So, and he a husband to me. When we watched Prince of Egypt, she used to assign herself as Miriam (because she is "the siser"), which makes didi Moses, and me the mother who set Moses adrift. But she recently said, "妈妈你是Tzaporah啦,爸爸是Moses", because "Tzaporah 是Moses的老婆,Moses 是Tzaporah 的老公。”Sometimes she would also test us “妈妈你的老公是谁啊?爸爸你的老婆是谁啊?”

Xuan at work:

Xuan was "sick" that day, with a slight fever but super energetic. I took her to my office to retrieve my hard disk so that I work from home but she was so well behaved that she ended up there the whole day.
Since we have all the toys for our preschool research, she happily selected her pile to play with. There's only one other colleague in my room that day and she enjoyed playing with her too! Many colleagues came to marvel at her big eyes and beauty. *Pride of a mum* I also dunno how I can produce such a pretty girl! hahahhah!

She made herself comfortable after a while...
I am really thankful that I now have this option to bring her to work if she can't go to school for whatever reasons. The dilemma of a working mum: productivity at work? Responsibility of a mum? Childcare centres talk behind our back when we leave our children there too early and pick them up too late, but seriously, who to take care of them when centre closes?

Family at Swensons (I seldom get a good photo!):
I think xuan has her dad's face shape, and didi has mine. Xuan probably has her granny's eyes, and all other nice features that she selected from the 2 families' pool of DNA. Didi has his dad's features?

Children's party at Multi-purpose "void deck"

Our Resident Committee is really "on", holding residents' party one after another. Mid autumn festival, Children's Day, Mother's Day, etc etc. Sad to say I went but never really interacted with anyone. That night a certain Indian family's baby held his first year party and it was an open-for-all-with-children. We went down too late, but queued up for balloons anyway, and I talked to some neighbours. They said this was organised to encourage interaction between all the young families we have here, which is a lot. Very nobel indeed! Maybe I can do something like that for didi's 2nd birthday too?
Didi carried a suitcase...The Starhub set-up-box box. Toys come in various forms and in the least expected way.

The children are all happy with their fancy balloons!
